    The star with the highest surface temperature known to us is WR 102. This star is a Wolf-Rayet star, a type of massive star that is extremely hot and luminous. WR 102 has a surface temperature of around 210,000 Kelvin.

    For comparison, our Sun's surface temperature is around 5,500 Kelvin.
