  • Voyager 2: Exploring the Outer Planets – Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus & Neptune
The Voyager 2 space probe is associated with all the outer planets of our solar system:

    * Jupiter: It flew past Jupiter in 1979, providing close-up images of the planet, its moons, and its Great Red Spot.

    * Saturn: It flew past Saturn in 1981, capturing images of its rings, moons, and atmosphere.

    * Uranus: It was the first spacecraft to visit Uranus in 1986, discovering new moons and rings.

    * Neptune: It flew past Neptune in 1989, providing the first close-up views of the planet and its moons.

While Voyager 2 is most famously known for its flybys of these planets, it continues its journey into interstellar space, making it the only spacecraft to have explored all four outer planets.
