  • The Sun's Rays: A Scientific Explanation
    This is a bit of a trick question! Here's why:

    * Rays are not real: The "rays" we see coming from the sun are an illusion caused by the way light scatters in our atmosphere. They're not actual beams of light shooting out from the sun.

    * The sun doesn't have rays: The sun is a giant ball of hot gas. It doesn't have any physical "rays" emanating from it.

    So, there's no way to count the number of rays on the sun because they don't exist!
