  • Planetary Orbits: Which Planet Has the Shortest Orbital Period?
None of the planets in our solar system have completed less than one orbit around the sun in the last 100 years. Here's why:

    * Orbital Periods: Each planet takes a specific amount of time to orbit the sun. This is called its orbital period.

    * Earth's orbital period: 365.25 days (approximately one year)

    * Other planets: The other planets have much longer orbital periods, ranging from Venus's 225 days to Neptune's 165 years.

Therefore, even the planet with the shortest orbital period (Venus) has completed more than 100 orbits in the last 100 years.
