  • Moon's Core Temperature: What Scientists Know
The Moon doesn't have a core like Earth's that generates heat. Instead, the temperature at the center of the Moon is determined by the decay of radioactive elements within its interior.

Scientists estimate the temperature at the Moon's center to be around 1,300°C (2,370°F). This is significantly cooler than the Earth's core, which reaches over 5,000°C (9,000°F).

It's important to note that this is just an estimate, and the exact temperature at the Moon's center is still being studied.
