Neil Armstrong rode in the Apollo 11 spacecraft, which consisted of three parts:

* Command Module (Columbia): This was the part that returned to Earth with Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins.

* Service Module: This module provided propulsion, power, and life support for the mission.

* Lunar Module (Eagle): This was the landing module that carried Armstrong and Aldrin to the lunar surface.

So, while the whole Apollo 11 spacecraft was involved in the mission, it was specifically the Lunar Module, Eagle, that Armstrong rode in to land on the Moon.
