Here's why we can't talk about a constellation's temperature:
* Stars are the "building blocks" of constellations: Each star within a constellation has its own temperature, which depends on its size, age, and type.
* Stars are far apart: The stars in a constellation are spread out over vast distances. They aren't physically connected or interacting in a way that would lead to a unified temperature.
* Constellations are a human construct: We, as humans, have connected the stars into patterns and given them names. The constellations themselves don't have any physical properties like temperature.
Instead of talking about a constellation's temperature, we can discuss the temperature of individual stars within a constellation. For example, we could talk about the temperature of the star Sirius in the constellation Canis Major, or the temperature of Polaris in Ursa Minor.
