  • Uranus: The Smooth Ice Giant of the Solar System
    The Jovian planet that is virtually featureless is Uranus.

    While the other gas giants (Jupiter, Saturn, and Neptune) have visible storms, bands, and other atmospheric features, Uranus appears remarkably smooth and bland. This is due to its incredibly cold, thick atmosphere, which lacks the dynamic weather patterns seen on the other gas giants.
