  • Finding Polaris: Which Constellation Guides You to the North Star?
The constellation that points to the North Star (Polaris) is Ursa Major, also known as the Great Bear.

Specifically, the two stars at the end of the Big Dipper's "bowl" (Dubhe and Merak) are known as "pointer stars". If you draw an imaginary line through these two stars, it will point directly towards Polaris, the North Star.
