  • Cepheus Constellation: Stars, Visibility & Key Features
There isn't a fixed number of stars that make up a constellation. Constellations are patterns of stars that we, on Earth, perceive as shapes in the night sky.

Cepheus is a constellation, but its stars are not officially "part of" it in a defined way. Astronomers don't list a specific number of stars belonging to any constellation.

    What we do know is:

    * Cepheus is a large constellation, containing many stars visible to the naked eye.

    * Cepheus contains some bright stars, including Alderamin (Alpha Cephei), a star used for navigation.

    * The constellation is named after King Cepheus from Greek mythology.

If you're interested in exploring the stars within Cepheus, you can use stargazing apps or websites to find the constellation and learn about the individual stars within it.
