  • Solar System's Most Violent Weather: Jupiter vs. Saturn
It's a toss-up between Jupiter and Saturn for the title of "most violent weather" in our solar system. Both planets are gas giants with swirling storms that dwarf anything we experience on Earth.

    Here's why:

    * Jupiter's Great Red Spot: This iconic storm has been raging for centuries and is a massive anticyclone. It's so large that it could swallow the entire Earth. Winds within the Great Red Spot reach speeds of over 400 mph.

    * Jupiter's other storms: Jupiter is a planet of constant storms, with powerful lightning and swirling clouds of ammonia and water.

    * Saturn's powerful winds: Saturn has incredibly strong winds, reaching up to 1,100 mph in its upper atmosphere, making it a contender for the most violent weather.

    * Saturn's hexagonal storm: This unique storm at Saturn's north pole is a swirling hexagon of clouds, with winds reaching speeds of over 300 mph.

While both planets are incredibly violent, Jupiter might edge out Saturn due to the sheer size and longevity of its Great Red Spot. However, Saturn's powerful winds and hexagonal storm make it a close second.
