    That's a bit of a tricky statement! Here's why:

    * The Sun is a medium-sized star. It's not a giant star like Betelgeuse or Rigel, but it's much larger than many other stars in the Milky Way.

    So, while the Sun is not a "giant" star in the sense of being incredibly massive, it's still a very important and large star that dominates our solar system.
