  • Finding Leo in the Night Sky: Determining Your Direction
You can't determine the direction you're facing just by looking at Leo. Here's why:

    * Constellations are in the sky, not on the ground. They appear in different positions depending on your location and the time of year.

    * The Earth rotates. What's "up" for you changes throughout the night and throughout the year.

To figure out your direction relative to Leo, you need more information:

    1. Your location: Are you in the Northern Hemisphere or the Southern Hemisphere?

    2. The time of year: Leo is visible in the spring and summer months in the Northern Hemisphere.

    3. The time of night: Leo's position in the sky changes throughout the night.

Using a stargazing app or a celestial map will help you determine Leo's position and your facing direction.
