  • The Sun's Color: Why It Appears Yellow (and Isn't!)
    Our star, the Sun, is yellow.

    However, it's important to note that the Sun isn't truly yellow. It actually emits all colors of light, which combine to create white light. We perceive it as yellow because the Earth's atmosphere scatters blue light more than other colors, making the Sun appear yellowish when viewed from the surface.
