  • When to See Venus: Morning and Evening Star Visibility
Venus is visible in the sky, but not at night. It's a morning or evening star, meaning it's visible shortly before sunrise or after sunset.

    Here's why:

    * Venus orbits the sun closer than Earth. This means it's always in the general vicinity of the sun in our sky.

    * We only see Venus when it's on the opposite side of the sun from us. This happens when it's either in the morning sky (before sunrise) or evening sky (after sunset).

You can use astronomy apps or websites to find out when and where Venus will be visible in your location.
