The Sun is incredibly massive, but its gravity is balanced by the outward pressure of its own heat and light. This means it can't hold onto the material that would be needed to form rings.
* Solar Wind: The Sun constantly emits a stream of charged particles called the solar wind. This wind would quickly push away any material trying to form rings around the Sun.
So, while the Sun is a beautiful and powerful star, it doesn't have the conditions necessary for rings.
