  • Neptune Sunrises and Sunsets: East or West?
Neptune, like all planets in our solar system, has the sun rise in the east and set in the west.

This is because of the way planets rotate on their axis and orbit the sun. The direction of rotation determines which way the sun appears to rise and set. While Neptune is tilted on its axis, it still rotates in the same direction as all the other planets in our solar system.
