  • Planets and Black Holes: Do Planets Exist Inside Black Holes?
Black holes don't contain planets. Here's why:

    * Black holes are incredibly dense: They have a gravitational pull so strong that nothing, not even light, can escape.

    * Planets orbit stars: Planets form around stars due to the gravitational pull of the star.

    * Black holes can consume stars: If a star gets too close to a black hole, it can be ripped apart and swallowed.

So, while a black hole might "capture" a star that has planets orbiting it, the planets wouldn't actually exist *inside* the black hole. They would likely be disrupted or destroyed by the extreme gravitational forces.
