  • Neptune's Great Dark Spot: What Happened to It?
The planet you're thinking of is Neptune.

Neptune had a Great Dark Spot, similar to Jupiter's Great Red Spot, which was a massive storm visible in its atmosphere. However, unlike Jupiter's storm, which has persisted for centuries, Neptune's Great Dark Spot disappeared in 1994.

Later, a new dark spot appeared on Neptune, but it too eventually dissipated. Scientists believe these dark spots are likely large storms in Neptune's atmosphere.
