  • Beyond Pluto: Exploring Recent Solar System Discoveries
It's important to clarify that the term "newest discovered planets" is a bit tricky. While there have been many exoplanets discovered in recent years, the question specifically asks for planets after Pluto in our own solar system.

Here's the catch: There are no planets in our solar system that are larger than Pluto and beyond it. Pluto, Eris, Makemake, and Haumea are all dwarf planets, and there are no known planets further out.

The discovery of exoplanets (planets outside our solar system) has been a major focus in astronomy, and we are constantly discovering new ones. However, within our own solar system, the search for planets beyond Neptune has so far been unsuccessful.

So, while there are no new planets after Pluto, there are many exciting discoveries in the realm of exoplanets!
