* Triton is the largest and most interesting moon, with a retrograde orbit (it orbits in the opposite direction to Neptune's rotation). It's also geologically active, with geysers and a nitrogen atmosphere.
* Nereid, the second largest, has a highly eccentric orbit, taking it far from Neptune at times.
* The remaining moons are much smaller and less well-studied.
Scientists are still learning about the Neptunian system, and there could be more moons yet to be discovered!
