Halley's Comet appears in the inner solar system, including near the Sun, every 75-76 years.
It's important to note that it doesn't "appear in the sun" in the literal sense. It orbits the Sun, just like planets do. However, it becomes visible from Earth when it is closest to the Sun in its orbit, as the heat from the Sun causes the comet's ice to vaporize and create a bright tail.
The last time Halley's Comet was visible from Earth was in 1986, and it is expected to return in 2061.
