  • Alioth Star: Surface Temperature, Color, and Characteristics
Alioth, the brightest star in the constellation Ursa Major (the Great Bear), has a surface temperature of approximately 9,800 Kelvin (17,400 degrees Fahrenheit).

This makes Alioth a blue-white star, which is a classification based on its color and temperature. Stars with surface temperatures around 10,000 Kelvin are generally considered to be blue-white.
