  • Weight on the Sun: Understanding Gravity and Mass
You can't directly calculate your weight on the Sun using your Earth weight. Here's why:

    * Weight vs. Mass: Weight is the force of gravity acting on an object's mass. Your mass is the same everywhere in the universe, but your weight changes depending on the gravitational pull.

    * Sun's Gravity: The Sun has a much stronger gravitational pull than Earth. You'd be much heavier on the Sun.

    * Surface Problem: The Sun doesn't have a solid surface like Earth. You couldn't stand on it!

Instead of weight, let's think about how much force you'd experience on the Sun:

    * The Sun's gravity is about 28 times stronger than Earth's.

    * This means you'd experience a force about 28 times greater than your weight on Earth.

So, instead of a weight, you'd feel an incredible crushing force on the Sun!
