  • Sea Level Rise: Historical Trends and IPCC Estimates
The commonly held scientific estimate is that sea level has risen about 10 to 25 centimeters over the past century.

More specifically, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) estimates that global mean sea level rose by 20 cm between 1901 and 2010.

Keep in mind that this is just an average, and the actual rate of sea level rise varies geographically.
