  • What is the Morning Star? Understanding Venus's Appearance
The "morning star" isn't an invention. It's a natural phenomenon referring to Venus when it appears in the morning sky.

    Here's why:

    * Venus is a planet: It's the second planet from the sun and is not man-made.

    * Morning star is a nickname: Because Venus is often the brightest object in the sky before sunrise, it's nicknamed the "morning star".

    * Evening star too: Venus also appears in the evening sky and is then called the "evening star".

So, no one "invented" the morning star. It's just a beautiful celestial object we've been observing for centuries!
