  • Neptune's Temperature: Understanding the Coldest Planet
    Neptune doesn't have a "surface" temperature in the way we think of it. It's a gas giant, so it doesn't have a solid surface like Earth. However, we can talk about its atmospheric temperature:

    * Average atmospheric temperature: -214°C (-353°F)

    This temperature is incredibly cold, even colder than the average temperature on Pluto!

    It's important to note that Neptune's temperature varies with altitude. The temperature decreases with altitude, reaching incredibly low temperatures in its upper atmosphere.
