  • Mercury Space Missions: Past, Present & Future Exploration
It's not clear what you mean by "going to go Mercury." Do you mean:

    * Visiting Mercury? If so, there have been a few spacecraft that have visited Mercury:

    * Mariner 10 (1974-1975) was the first spacecraft to fly by Mercury, making three flybys and capturing the first close-up images.

    * MESSENGER (2011-2015) was the first spacecraft to orbit Mercury, providing detailed images and data about its surface, composition, and magnetic field.

    * BepiColombo (launched in 2018) is currently on its way to Mercury and is expected to enter orbit around 2025. It is a joint mission by the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), and it will study Mercury's magnetic field, atmosphere, and surface in greater detail than ever before.

    * Traveling to Mercury? Sending humans to Mercury is extremely challenging due to the intense heat and radiation from the sun. Currently, there are no plans for a human mission to Mercury.

Could you please clarify your question?
