  • Apollo 11 Lunar Module LM-7 Aquarius: Where Is It Now?
LM-7 Aquarius (also known as Apollo 11 Lunar Module) is not currently orbiting the Earth.

The Lunar Module, after successfully landing Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin on the moon, was left on the lunar surface. It remains there today, a historical monument to the first human steps on the moon.

The command module, which carried Michael Collins and rejoined the lunar module after the moon landing, was the only part of the mission that returned to Earth and is now on display at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum.
