  • Uranus Temperature: Understanding the Ice Giant's Atmosphere
It's not possible to give a temperature for Uranus in Fahrenheit (or any other unit) because:

    * Uranus is a gas giant: It doesn't have a solid surface like Earth, so there's no single temperature to measure.

    * Temperatures vary greatly: Different layers of the atmosphere have vastly different temperatures. The upper atmosphere is incredibly cold, reaching -353°F (-214°C). The core is much hotter, estimated to be around 9,000°F (5,000°C).

So, instead of a single temperature, we can talk about the temperature ranges found on Uranus.
