Here is a list of spacecraft that have visited Venus, along with the year of their launch:

    Soviet Missions:

    * Venera 1 (1961): First spacecraft to flyby Venus, but communication was lost before reaching the planet.

    * Venera 2 (1965): Also flew by Venus but lost contact before reaching the planet.

    * Venera 3 (1965): First spacecraft to reach the surface of Venus, but it crashed.

    * Venera 4 (1967): First spacecraft to successfully enter Venus' atmosphere and send back data.

    * Venera 5 (1969): Entered the atmosphere and sent back data.

    * Venera 6 (1969): Entered the atmosphere and sent back data.

    * Venera 7 (1970): First spacecraft to land successfully on Venus and send back data from the surface.

    * Venera 8 (1972): Landed on Venus and sent back data.

    * Venera 9 (1975): First spacecraft to orbit Venus and send back images of the surface.

    * Venera 10 (1975): Orbited Venus and sent back images of the surface.

    * Venera 11 (1978): Entered the atmosphere and sent back data.

    * Venera 12 (1978): Entered the atmosphere and sent back data.

    * Venera 13 (1981): Landed on Venus and took color photos of the surface.

    * Venera 14 (1981): Landed on Venus and took color photos of the surface.

    * Vega 1 (1985): Orbited Venus and released a balloon probe into the atmosphere.

    * Vega 2 (1985): Orbited Venus and released a balloon probe into the atmosphere.

    American Missions:

    * Mariner 2 (1962): First successful flyby of Venus.

    * Mariner 5 (1967): Flyby of Venus, providing detailed atmospheric data.

    * Magellan (1989): Orbited Venus and created a detailed radar map of the surface.

    European Missions:

    * Venus Express (2005): Orbited Venus and studied its atmosphere and surface.

    Japanese Missions:

    * Akatsuki (2010): Orbited Venus and is currently studying its atmosphere.

This list does not include all the missions to Venus, but it represents the most significant ones.
