  • Nebulae: The Stellar Nurseries of the Universe
A star birthplace is called a nebula.

    Here's why:

    * Nebulae are giant clouds of gas and dust in space.

    * These clouds contain the raw materials for star formation: hydrogen, helium, and trace amounts of heavier elements.

    * Under the influence of gravity, these clouds collapse, forming dense cores where stars are born.

So, nebulae are like cosmic nurseries for stars!
