  • Understanding Wavelengths of Colors: Which Color Has the Longest?
The color with the highest wavelength is red. The visible light spectrum ranges from 400 to 700 nanometers (nm), and red light occupies the longest wavelengths, ranging from approximately 625 to 700 nm. As you move from one end of the visible spectrum to the other, the wavelengths of the colors increase, starting from violet (shortest) to red (longest).
