  • Cygnus Constellation: Visibility, Location & How to Find It
The constellation Cygnus is in the sky because of the way the stars are arranged in the night sky. Cygnus is located in the Northern Hemisphere, and therefore it is visible to anyone in the Northern Hemisphere who looks upward. The stars that make up Cygnus appear to be in a line running north-south. The "tail" of the swan, which forms a straight line of five stars, is pointing to the left, making the constellation easy to spot.

Cygnus is a beautiful and distinctive constellation, and it has been recognized and celebrated by cultures around the world for centuries.
