2. Access Location Menu: Look for the "Location" menu on the application toolbar or use keyboard shortcut "L."
3. Search or Select: In the Location menu, you can either type the name of the country or city or use the built-in search feature.
- To type: Start entering the name of the country or city in the search box and select the correct option as it appears in the list.
- To search: Click on the magnifying glass icon or enter a keyword in the search box and press "Enter" to search.
4. Country Selection: Select the country of your choice from the list of returned results.
- If you've accurately entered the country name, choose the option representing the country itself (not cities or regions within it) to ensure a broader perspective of the entire nation.
5. Confirm Location: After selecting the country, click "OK" or press "Enter" to confirm your location change.
6. Sky Update: Stellarium will automatically update its star chart to display the sky as seen from your chosen country.
7. Zoom In/Out: Use the mouse wheel or "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the zoom level as desired.
8. Panning: Click on the chart and drag to pan across different regions of the sky.
Remember that Stellarium also allows you to specify precise coordinates if you have exact latitude, longitude, and elevation values for the location you want to view. You can enter these values in the "Custom Location" fields available in the Location menu.
