  • Younger Dryas Impact Hypothesis: Evidence of a 50,000-Year-Old Comet?
    The Younger Dryas impact hypothesis proposes that a cosmic impact event may have severely disrupted ecosystems in the Northern Hemisphere about 12,900 years ago at the start of the Younger Dryas stadial, a period within the last glacial period.[1] Evidence supporting this has been reported at several archaeological sites.[2]
