  • Sun's Core: Understanding Sunspots and Solar Activity
There is no literal "black dot" visible in the middle of the Sun. The Sun is a glowing sphere of hot plasma releasing vast amounts of energy through nuclear fusion. While there are sunspots that appear as darker areas on its surface, they are temporary phenomena created by intense magnetic activity and fluctuations in the Sun's convection zone. These sunspots are not solid, black objects but are relatively cooler regions compared to their surroundings.
