Neil Armstrong travelled to the moon on the Apollo 11 spacecraft. The Apollo 11 spacecraft consisted of three main parts: the Command Module (CM), the Service Module (SM), and the Lunar Module (LM). The Command Module was the living quarters for the three astronauts during the flight to the moon and back. The Service Module provided power, propulsion, and life support systems for the Command Module. The Lunar Module was the landing vehicle that took Armstrong and Aldrin to the moon's surface.
