The Earth's orbit around Sun creates the illusion of stars moving in the sky. Stars are not visible in the same place at all times on earth because as Earth orbits the Sun, different parts of the sky become visible at night.

So, stars that are visible in March may not be visible in September because they have moved to a different part of the sky that is not visible from that location on earth at that time.
