  • Where Does Life Exist? Exploring Habitats Beyond the Troposphere
    This statement isn't entirely true - while life is predominantly found within the troposphere due to the presence of necessary gasses (oxygen, carbon dioxide, and water vapor), there are a few cases of organisms and microorganisms surviving within the lower reaches of stratosphere as well as under ice at extremely low temperatures in Antarctica or extreme heat conditions near thermal vents.
