Humans are very unlikely set foot on Mars by 2023. NASA has set a goal to send humans to Mars by the 2030s, with a human landing on the Red Planet by the 2030s. However, there are many challenges that need to be overcome before this can happen, such as developing a spacecraft that is capable of transporting humans to Mars, and ensuring their safe return to Earth, as well as providing a sustainable environment on Mars that can support human life.
