  • Moon Collision Remnants: Could Lunar Material Exist Inside Earth?
There is no known evidence to suggest that any significant parts of the celestial body that collided with earth to form the Moon are still recognisable within our planet. The collision occurred approximately 4.5 billion years ago, and the dynamic geological processes that have shaped the Earth since then, including plate tectonics, mantle, convection currents, and volcanic eruptions, have likely led to the assimilation and transformation of the impacting material.
