  • Telescopes and Time: Understanding What We See in the Universe
    A telescope cannot see through time. Telescopes allow us to see distant objects in space, and the light we see from those objects has been traveling for a long time, so we are seeing them as they were in the past. But telescopes do not allow us to see events that are happening in the present or future.
